With record spike of 875, Gujarat COVID-19 tally reaches 40,155

Gandhinagar, Gujarat on Friday reported its highest single-day spike of 875 new COVID-19 cases which pushed its overall count to 40,155, a health official said.

The death toll in the state reached 2,024 with 14 more people succumbing to the virus on Friday, the official said.
