Kanpur, Three persons have been arrested in connection with the attack on a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader in Kanpur's Kotdwar locality.

People belonging to a particular community had beaten up the pracharak and the Sangh member over the hijab row.

Mathura,  The Mathura police have registered a case against a priest and his associate for raping and threatening a nursing student.

The victim has threatened to set herself ablaze at the SSP office if action is not taken against the accused.

According to the police, the victim has alleged

Aurraiya (Uttar Pardesh),  A 30-year-old woman committed suicide over suspicion that her husband was having an affair because he used to chat on phone with another women.

The woman had a heated argument with her husband following which she ended her life by suicide on Tuesday.

Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh), In a shocking incident, a seven-year-old boy was allegedly burnt by his stepmother with a hot iron press at Raza Magar in the Kawarsi area of Aligarh.

According to the victim's father Mohammad Jahid, his son Karib was burnt by his wife Tabassum, when he went for work at a lock factory.
