One terrorist died in an exchange of fire with security forces at Kralpora area in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam district on Friday morning.

As per emerging reports, two to three terrorists are still trapped in the area. A search and cordon operation is underway.
 
Special Operations Group (SOG), 50 Rashtriya Rifles and Central Reserve Police Force launched a joint operation at around 3:15 am. The trapped terrorists opened fire and lobbed grenades at the forces to which the security forces retaliated.

The killed terrorist's body has been recovered from the site and is yet to be identified, sources in police said.
