Jet Airways sale postponed again

Jet Airways sale postponed again

Anil Agarwal, head of mining giant Vedanta Resources, said on Monday that he was no longer interested in buying the closed airline Jet Airways. The debt-ridden Jet Airways case is under consideration before the NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal) under the Insolvency Code and Agarwal's investment company Volcan Investment submitted a Letter of Interest (EOI) on Sunday to buy Jet Airways. Yesterday was the last day to bid for this closed airline. After submitting a letter of interest from Volcan to buy the jet, Agarwal said in a statement on Monday, that the interest letter Volcan had submitted for Jet Airways was based on initial research. After considering further investigations and other priorities, we have decided not to take steps in this direction.
