Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath yesterday said that as part of the security arrangements, two helicopters will be kept on standby in Lucknow and Ayodhya for emergency purposes.

A state-level control room will also be set up in Lucknow and every district in UP will have a separate control room, a government statement said.

The CM warned that strict measures will be taken against those trying to destabilise law and order situation in the state. Adityanath held a late-night video conference with the top civil and police officials in the state, along with divisional commissioners and district magistrates, news agency PTI reported.
