A day after he was arrested by the CBI in connection with the alleged rape of a 17-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao district, BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar on Saturday remained defiant in claiming his innocence and said he has ‘faith in the judiciary’,according to ANI . The four-time MLA was produced before a Lucknow Court earlier today.

The victim, who arrived at the CBI zonal office in the city earlier in the day, was later taken to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital for medical examination. A day after Prime Minister Modi's assurance, the victim expressed her confidence in receiving justice.
