TIME morphs faces of Trump and Putin into one creepy cover

After Trump-Putin summit in Helsinki, the TIME magazine's cover for the week is hands down the creepiest yet the funniest thing you will see today. The magazine morphed the faces of US president Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin into one in its cover.

"The composite image, by visual artist Nancy Burson, is meant to represent this particular moment in U.S. foreign policy, following the pair's recent meeting in Helsinki, Finland," Time magazine said.

As per the article inside, the cover is based on a reporter's question 'Who do you believe?' to Trump. At the summit, Putin denied any involvement in the US Presidential election. When asked who Trump believes, his own people or the Russian president, “I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today,” he was quoted as saying by Time.

“A year and a half into his presidency, Trump’s puzzling affinity for Putin has yet to be explained. Trump is bruised by the idea that Russian election meddling taints his victory, those close to him say, and can’t concede the fact that Russia did try to interfere in the election, regardless of whether it impacted the outcome. He views this problem entirely through a political lens, these people say, unable or unwilling to differentiate between the question of whether his campaign colluded with Russia—which he denies—and the question of whether Russia attempted to influence the election," Brian Bennett wrote for the cover story.

Time also tweeted out an image of this legendary cover and Twitterati just cannot stop laughing. The magazine, known for its sharp critique through political satire directly attacked the recent summit in Finland's Helsinki as well as the notorious US president.
