Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi paid rich tributes to Atal Bihari Vajpayee, at a prayer meeting in rememberance of the former prime minister, in New Delhi. "We cannot control the length of life but quality of it is under our control, and Atal ji taught us how life should be lived," the PM said. He had lived only for the nation and its citizens, he said. He lived up to his name 'Atal' which means committed. He was committed to the country and to the high values he held throughout his life, Modi added.
