Mahesh Babu savagely trolled for not wishing Kannada people on Vijayadasami

Mahesh Babu is currently in New York, shooting for his 25th film Maharshi. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, Maharshi has Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Sai Kumar and Rao Ramesh in significant roles.

On October 18, the Bharat Ane Nenu star took to Twitter to post Vijayadasami wishes in multiple languages. He posted his wishes in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. He left out Kannada.

His fans in Karnataka took offence and trolled the star for not wishing them in Kannada. After a while, Mahesh Babu posted his wishes in Kannada and wrote, "For all my people in Karnataka (sic)"

Many fans pointed out that his films do well in Karnataka and he should include Kannada while wishing people. One user wrote, "If you want to wish in multiple languages then include all major languages, or else keep your wishes in Telugu only. Every time you does this mistake and face criticism and again does the same, time to change ur social media manager. (sic)"

One angry fan called Mahesh Babu cunning as well. The Twitter user posted, "Kannadigas don't watch this cunning fellow movies. He wants money from Karnataka not respect this bold head. (sic)"

Mahesh Babu was previously seen in Bharat Ane Nenu, which is one of the highest grossing films in Tollywood this year.
