Chennai: Shri Mandalika Srinivas, I.R.S. officer of 1988 Batch took charge as Principal Chief Commissioner of Central Excise and GST, Tamilnadu Zone, covering the jurisdiction of Tamilnadu and Puducherry, very recently. The Officer had served in various capacities in different formations of Customs, Central Excise and GST at Cochin, Bangalore, Calicut, Bellary, Coimbatore, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai. He also served as Additional Director General of Systems, Chennai; Headed the Media and Entertainment Sectoral Group of GST and Chaired Committee for valuation of Goods based on MRP. He was the Chief Commissioner of Customs, Bengaluru for the last two years before his recent elevation as Principal chief Commissioner.
